Job summary

Hamilton Barnes Associates Limited is seeking a skilled professional to lead efforts accelerating construction timelines for fiber infrastructure projects. You will coordinate with local utilities, onboard strategic partners, and conduct pre-construction inspections to ensure make-ready work aligns with build plans.

The role requires 5+ years in telecom networking, strong understanding of network architecture, and experience with pole attachments and ROW permitting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of telecommunications network experience required.
• Fundamental understanding of network architecture required.
• Experience with electric utility and/or pole owners preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and extrapolate aerial and underground FTTH plans, drawings, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Work with local utility companies and market leads to accelerate construction timelines and expediting aerial make-ready applications.
• Onboard strategic partners to augment the utility company's capacity.
• Perform virtual ride-outs with local utilities to maximise one-touch make-ready opportunities while minimising impact on timelines and costs.
• Perform pre-construction field inspections to ensure completion of make-ready activities and existing aerial facilities owned by power companies.
• Verify utility measurements on existing utility poles to prepare pole attachment applications for submission to governing utilities.
• Coordinate with power and communications entities to devise a plan that supports project delivery.
