Job summary

Paylocity is looking for a people leader to guide and scale a team of Client HR Partners supporting the Elevate client portfolio. The role ensures compliant, consultative HR services across the full employee lifecycle and aligns delivery with service agreements and client expectations.

This fully remote position may require travel up to 50% and involves coaching, escalation of complex issues, and partnership with payroll, benefits, legal, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Active HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-SCP) required.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including employee relations, compliance, and policy development.
• 2+ years of people leadership experience, preferably leading HR professionals.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and performance-manage a team of Client HR Partners ensuring consistent application of HR best practices and service standards.
• Conduct regular 1:1s, case reviews, and skill-based coaching focused on employee relations, compliance judgment, and client advisory effectiveness.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and ramp up of new Client HR Partners with emphasis on consultative mindset and risk-based HR guidance.
• Serve as an escalation point for high-risk or complex HR matters, ensuring documentation and compliance alignment.
• Enable high-quality service delivery that drives client satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth.
