Job summary

Escalon Services, Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner / Project Manager to support our People Operations Practice. This remote, full-time role partners with client organizations on strategic HR initiatives and ensures compliant, scalable HR processes across multiple engagements.

You will advise on HR strategy, policy development, and HRIS/payroll systems while coordinating with a knowledgeable team to deliver high-quality PeopleOps guidance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of human resources/people operations experience.
• Experience scaling and supporting venture/private equity backed companies preferred.
• Knowledge of startup HR best practices in entrepreneurial environments.
• Strong business acumen with a people-oriented, results-driven approach.
• Exceptional knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws.
• Ability to autonomously advise clients and mitigate risk while delivering excellent service.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with changing priorities and attention to detail.
• Professional demeanour with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with full-cycle HR and project-based work with guidance from a HRBP Manager.
• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with client business goals; monitor HR tactics and procedures.
• Ensure compliance and build strong HR infrastructure, including policies and employee handbooks.
• Support Mergers & Acquisitions due diligence readiness for clients.
• Lead or partner on implementing major HRIS and payroll systems across clients.
• Research and implement benefits administration and strategic benefits packages.
