Job summary

Wipfli is seeking a skilled accounting professional to serve as a trusted advisor to behavioral health providers, helping navigate financial, operational, reimbursement, and compliance challenges while advancing their mission. This role can be worked 100% remote anywhere in the US.

With 4–6 years in accounting and healthcare experience, you will lead teams, communicate clearly with cross-functional leaders, and deliver high-quality client outcomes in a dynamic advisory environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• 4–6 years in public or private accounting.
• Healthcare, behavioral health, nonprofit, or community-based experience required.
• CPA/CMA or CPA-preferred is a plus.
• Experience leading associates and teams (3+ years).
• Strong communication with cross-functional groups.

Responsibilities

• Review financial reporting packages for quality and timeliness.
• Prepare benchmarking data and KPIs to support client insights.
• Present reporting packages and findings to clients.
• Assist budgets, forecasts, and cash flow models.
• Provide technical accounting support on complex issues.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
• Lead US and offshore engagement teams to ensure quality.
• Coach staff and senior accountants on accounting matters.
