Baptist Health is seeking a Manager, Athletic Training Services for a remote field role with a flexible schedule. Lead a team of Athletic Trainers serving partner schools and community events, ensuring clinical compliance and best-practice patient care.

The candidate will oversee staff development, mentor teams, and build strong community partnerships while supporting operational efficiency and growth across contracted sites.

Qualifications

• Experience leading athletic training staff.
• Ability to mentor and develop teams.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and evaluate Staff Athletic Trainers to foster growth.
• Oversee emergency action plans and safety protocols for contracted schools and events.
• Build relationships with physicians, PT partners, EMS, and community groups.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and utilization of Athletic Trainers (including PRN).
• Recruit, interview, and onboard Athletic Trainers ensuring licensure and certification compliance.
• Conduct site visits and provide ongoing staff mentorship and support.
• Monitor documentation standards, patient care quality, and customer service excellence.
• Manage department resources, expenses, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with leadership for program operations and growth.
