Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking a Full-Time Field Athletic Trainer to deliver advanced sports medicine care to athletes affiliated with designated schools or teams. The role includes autonomous medical management, emergency coverage at home events, treatment and rehabilitation, and collaboration with physicians, coaches, and medical staff.

Responsibilities include supervision of athletic training departments and staff, scheduling, injury prevention, and maintaining HIPAA-compliant records.

Qualifications

• Must have a B.S. degree in Athletic Training from a CAATE-accredited program.
• Active BOC certification is required.
• NJ Athletic Training License in good standing required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide athletic training services to athletes affiliated with designated schools or team organizations.
• Provide emergency medical coverage during all home athletic events.
• Deliver treatment and rehabilitation to indicated athletes.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant medical records.
• Supervise affiliated School or Team Organization's Athletic Training Program and staff.
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up care with physicians.
