The ideal candidate is a servant leader with strong organizational, mentorship, and operational skills, committed to advancing athletic healthcare and community relations while supporting staff and athletes.

Qualifications

• Current Alabama Athletic Trainer license in good standing.
• Current CPR for the Professional Rescuer or BLS for Healthcare Provider as required by Alabama Board of Athletic Trainers.
• Experience in athletic training or related field; leadership/mentoring preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and evaluate Staff Athletic Trainers while fostering professional growth.
• Oversee emergency action plans and safety protocols for contracted schools, venues, and events.
• Build and maintain relationships with physicians, therapy partners, EMS, and community organizations.
• Manage staffing needs, scheduling, and utilization of athletic trainers including PRN staff.
