Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field or a Bachelor’s in Athletic Training with 3+ years of experience.
• Current certification by BOC (NATA) and Alabama AT license.
• New graduates are welcome, mentoring will be provided.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Provide prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries according to professional standards of practice.
• Coordinate patient care with healthcare professionals and educate patients and families on treatment plans and injury prevention.
• Independently make decisions that positively impact patient health and quality of life.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with billing procedures when applicable.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives, educational programs, and community outreach events.
• Assist with special events and injury prevention education programs outside of the clinic setting as needed.
• Maintain compliance with all organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, strong communication skills, and a positive attitude in all interactions.
• Support patient care under supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist or Medical Doctor when applicable.
• Adapt to flexible scheduling needs, including varying shifts and occasional event support.
