Job summary

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc. is seeking a senior Medical Affairs professional to lead national payer strategy, and to deliver health economics and outcomes data that support portfolio value. You will collaborate with market access teams, FMA, and external partners to influence policy and education for national accounts.

The role requires deep knowledge of the US healthcare system, strong leadership, and the ability to manage complex cross-functional programs with a patient-first focus.

Qualifications

• Must have advanced degree (PharmD/MD/PhD) strongly preferred in Pharmacy, Medicine, Biological Sciences, Health Services Research or Public Health.
• 7+ years of Managed care or similar experience in the pharmaceutical industry; 1-2+ years in MML or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based health economics and clinical information demonstrating value of portfolio.
• Lead development and execution of medical strategy for national accounts.
• Communicate national payer coverage changes to ecosystems and develop downstream account strategies.
