Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pre-certification and prior authorization with insurance companies, including appeals as needed.
• Review patient schedules and treatment plans to evaluate coverage against payer guidelines.
• Communicate with Financial Counselors, UM and clinic staff to complete managed care tasks.
• Verify insurance benefits and maintain accurate EMR/billing data.
