American Oncology Network (AON) is seeking a Managed Care Coordinator to act as the liaison between the Financial Counselor and the UM/Intake teams, coordinating managed care reviews, pre-certifications, and authorizations while streamlining communication of managed care components for patient services.

The role requires a High School diploma, at least two years in healthcare, experience with insurance verification, pre-certification, ICD9/10 and CPT coding, and proficiency with EMR and billing

Formación

• High school Diploma or GED required.
• Two years healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience with insurance verification and pre-certification.
• Knowledge of ICD9, ICD10 and CPT codes.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate pre-certification and prior authorization with insurance payers.
• Review patient treatment plans to evaluate coverage with payor guidelines.
• Communicate with Financial Counselor, Intake, UM teams daily.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state patient care, safety, billing rules.
