Job summary

Carolinas Medical Center is seeking a full-time Contract Management professional for a fully remote role within the United States. The position handles the administration of managed care contracts, maintains contract databases, and oversees communications with executives and revenue cycle teams.

Required are an Associate's degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of two years in managed care contracting, operations, or patient financial services.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum two years experience in managed care contracting, operations, or patient financial services.
• Experience coordinating contract administration and revenue cycle activities.

Responsibilities

• Manages administration of the assigned portion of the contract portfolio.
• Maintains current detailed working knowledge of all assigned payor contracts and activities related to managed care contract administration and compliance.
• Creates and maintains electronic document databases and physical files for all MCO contracts within the System.
• Communicates and educates operational teams on new contract terms affecting revenue cycle.
• Manages implementation for new or renegotiated managed care agreements.
• Distributes confidential contract documents securely and informs executives and revenue cycle staff of changes.
• Trends and resolves operational issues related to existing managed care contracts.
