Job summary

Beacon Health System is seeking a proactive Managed Care Contracts Administrator to support the Manager of Managed Care in negotiating, maintaining, and coordinating assigned contracts and proposals.

The role serves as a liaison with internal clients and payors, ensuring accurate contract management, timely reporting, and alignment with strategic goals. Remote work is available for qualified candidates and requires residing in eligible states.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum 5 years experience with direct payer, carrier, network and value based contracting.
• Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare and physician contracting.
• Strong data analytics and interpretation of financial data.
• Understanding of PHO, HMO, PPO and POS healthcare delivery systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain contracting files and contract management system(s).
• Assist with contract negotiation/renewal processes with management support.
• Develop quarterly reports and circulate to stakeholders.
• Coordinate activities with internal teams (Accounting, Billing, Collections, Registration).
• Serve as liaison with attorneys regarding contract language and terms.
• Attend meetings to obtain approval on proposed agreements.
