Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a detail-oriented contract administrator to oversee a portfolio of managed care contracts. You will maintain contract knowledge, coordinate with revenue cycle staff, and support the implementation of new or renegotiated agreements.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum two years experience in managed care contracting, operations, or patient financial services for large healthcare provider or managed care organization.
• Experience preferred: handling contract notifications and managing multiple projects/deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manages administration of the assigned portion of the contract portfolio.
• Maintains knowledge of all assigned payor contracts and related contract administration activities.
• Creates and maintains electronic document databases for MCO contracts.
• Communicates contract terms to revenue cycle and executives to ensure compliance.
• Manages implementation of new or renegotiated managed care agreements.
• Coordinates JOC and operational meetings and distributes agendas and minutes.
