opportunity focuses on NESC-based clearance, pole loading, and construction-ready designs for attachments and modifications. Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in make-ready or electric distribution design, with proficiency in CAD/MicroStation and related design platforms.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; associate degree in engineering or related field preferred.
• 2+ years in make-ready engineering, joint-use, or electric distribution design (3+ years preferred).
• Proven utility pole design experience, NESC application, and construction-ready packages.

Responsibilities

• Complete make-ready and overhead pole design work orders meeting quality, schedule, and budget goals.
• Review field data, pole info, attachment details, and existing conditions.
• Evaluate joint-use attachments, NESC clearances, pole loading, and required modifications.
• Develop construction-ready make-ready designs including pole replacements, attachments, and guying.
