Job summary

Slalom is seeking an experienced Mainframe QA Lead to support a large Core Banking modernization program. In this remote role (EST hours), you will lead manual testing across mainframe and integrated banking applications within a major enterprise transformation.

You will develop and execute test cases, manage defects, and coordinate with business stakeholders and developers. Proficiency with Tosca and qTest is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software QA and testing experience.
• Experience leading manual testing on large enterprise programs.
• Strong experience testing mainframe applications and transactions.
• Hands-on Tosca and qTest experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead manual testing activities for a workstream within a large-scale core banking transformation program.
• Execute test cases and validate business processes across mainframe and integrated banking applications.
• Create, maintain, and enhance test scripts, scenarios, and execution documentation.
• Validate end-to-end account lifecycle and servicing processes across multiple systems.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure accurate transmission of customer and account information.
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, developers, and QA teams for test coverage.
• Support test planning, defect triage, and release readiness activities.
• Utilize test management and execution tools to manage testing activities and reporting.
