Job summary

Talentify is seeking a skilled Mainframe Developer for a remote role with a Health Insurance client. You will design, develop, and test mainframe applications, collaborating with business analysts and clients to ensure solutions align with enterprise standards.

Required are 5+ years in mainframe programming, strong COBOL/JCL/DB2 skills, and familiarity with IMS DB/DC and healthcare payor processes. Prior project leadership is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Five years of application programming and analysis experience required.
• Understanding of information systems and architecture standards.
• Experience designing, developing and testing applications.
• Project management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare payor functions.
• Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients, BAs and team members to understand business requirements and design compliant solutions.
• Support full systems life cycle from analysis through deployment within budget.
