You will design, code, test, and maintain COBOL-based mainframe applications, with batch processing using JCL and VSAM, and collaborate with analysts and testers to implement enhancements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on mainframe development in COBOL/JCL/VSAM environments.
• Experience with core banking modules such as deposits, loans, customer & account management, GL and tax systems.
• Knowledge of mainframe tools like Endevor, Xpediter and Easytrieve; CICS/IMS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, test, and maintain mainframe applications for core banking operations.
• Analyze requirements and translate into mainframe solutions.
• Develop and support batch jobs using COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and related technologies.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues; participate in code reviews and SIT/UAT support.
