Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands‑on Mainframe application development in COBOL/JCL/VSAM environments.
• Strong experience in Core Banking applications including Deposits, Loans, Customer/Account Management, GL, and Tax systems.
• Experience with mainframe development and support tools such as Endevor, Xpediter, and Easytrieve.
• Knowledge of CICS and IMS preferred and beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, test, and maintain mainframe applications for core banking operations.
• Analyze requirements and translate them into mainframe solutions.
• Develop and support batch processing jobs using COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and related tools.
• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, defect resolution, and production support.
• Collaborate with analysts, architects, testers, and stakeholders to implement enhancements.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, SIT/UAT support, and deployments.
