Job summary

Nelnet is seeking a M365 Engineer to manage modern workplace services across SharePoint Online, Viva, Power Platform, Fabric, and Azure. You will govern, automate, and optimize security and compliance while supporting Copilot readiness and adoption.

Qualifications

3+ years administering Microsoft 365 in an enterprise environment.
Experience governing SharePoint Online and related workloads.
Experience with Viva, Power Platform, Power BI, Copilot Studio, Fabric or similar platforms.
Experience supporting Azure services with governance and integrations.
Experience supporting Copilot readiness, adoption, or enablement.
Experience with scripting/automation: PowerShell, Graph API, REST APIs, JSON, webhooks.
Familiarity with MFA, Conditional Access, DLP, retention, information governance.
Strong troubleshooting; able to work independently on complex incidents.

Responsibilities

Administer and support SharePoint Online, Viva, Power Platform, Fabric, Azure, and Copilot with governance and reliability.
Support collaboration sites, content management, permissions, site architecture, and governance.
Partner with stakeholders to identify automation, reporting, and digital transformation using Power Apps/Automate/BI.
Support Fabric and Power BI administration for data integration, reporting, and analytics.
Administer Azure services including subscriptions, resource groups, storage, and integrations.
Support Copilot readiness, adoption, governance, and end-user enablement.
Automate tasks using PowerShell, Graph API, REST APIs, JSON, webhooks and related tech.
Maintain security, compliance, change management, and governance activities.
Develop runbooks, documentation, training materials and transfer knowledge.
Monitor platform health and roadmap changes; propose improvements.
