Job summary

Nelnet is seeking a Remote M365 Engineer to design, implement, and govern Microsoft 365 solutions across SharePoint Online, Viva, Power Platform, Fabric, and Azure. The role emphasizes governance, automation, analytics, and secure collaboration.

You will partner with business and technical teams, document procedures, and ensure reliable operations. Candidates need 3+ years of M365 admin experience, a Bachelor's degree, and must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
3+ years’ hands-on Microsoft 365 administration in an enterprise.
Experience with SharePoint Online, Viva, Power Platform, and Azure governance.
Familiarity with security, compliance concepts and MFA/CA/DLP.

Responsibilities

Administer and govern SharePoint Online, Viva, Power Platform, Fabric, Azure, and Copilot.
Support content collaboration, permissions, site architecture, and information governance.
Identify automation and reporting opportunities using Power Platform tools.
Assist with data integration, BI reporting, and analytics governance.
Automate tasks with PowerShell, Graph API, REST, and related tech.
Partner with security and infrastructure teams on compliance and change management.
