Job summary

Jobot is seeking a hands-on M&A tax professional in a remote role with ownership over client outcomes and transaction work. This senior position focuses on tax due diligence, structuring, and advisory services across domestic and cross-border deals.

Ideal candidates have Big 4 experience in M&A/transactional tax and a proven ability to guide clients through deal lifecycles, including modeling, tax analyses, and collaboration with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in M&A/transactional tax, Big 4 background.
• Deep knowledge of domestic and international tax issues in M&A.
• Ability to manage multiple deals and client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead tax due diligence and structuring work across domestic and cross-border M&A transactions
• Build and review transaction tax models
• Advise private equity, corporate, and strategic clients throughout the deal lifecycle
• Review and prepare technical tax analyses and memoranda
• Partner directly with senior leadership on client strategy, deal execution, and new business opportunities
• Review merger agreements and transaction documents from a tax perspective
• Support financial modeling and transaction-related tax projections
• Mentor and develop junior team members while staying actively involved in client work
