Job summary

SunSource seeks an M&A Manager – Industrial Distribution to drive our acquisition strategy across Fluid Power, Fluid Process, and related markets. You will lead deal screening, due diligence, negotiation and post‑integration planning with cross‑functional teams to create shareholder value.

The role demands deep industry insight, strong financial modeling, and the ability to travel up to 50%. Remote is possible but home‑based near a major airport, with collaboration across Sales, Legal, Finance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years buy-side experience in identifying target companies and initiating buy/sell process in Mergers and Acquisitions.
• 10+ years of experience within Industrial Distribution with Fluid Process exposure.
• Strong written and verbal communication; willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Proficient MS Office tools and internet research skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute SunSource's M&A acquisition strategy.
• Lead due diligence, negotiations, and integration planning across departments.
• Evaluate targets in Fluid Process and adjacent markets for value creation.
• Collaborate with Sales, Legal, Finance and HR to drive deals.
