Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Integration Manager – M&A to plan, coordinate, and execute merger and acquisition integration projects and large-scale transformation initiatives. Serves as a liaison between executives, cross-functional teams, and external partners to ensure on-schedule delivery and budget alignment.

The role requires 8-10+ years in project management within P&C insurance, with a focus on M&A integrations. PMP certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field required; MBA preferred.
• 8-10+ years of project management and P&C insurance experience
• Experience leading M&A integrations, transformations, or large-scale initiatives preferred
• PMP certification preferred
• Strong project management, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent analytical, conceptual thinking, and problem-solving abilities
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment
• Experience creating executive-level reports, presentations, and project documentation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
• Demonstrated success leading complex projects from planning through execution and delivery
• Strong communication, prioritization, and time management skills
• Proven leadership capability with a track record of delivering results

Responsibilities

• Define project objectives, integration roadmaps, timelines and success measures.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define scope and objectives.
• Lead M&A integration initiatives and coordinate cross-functional workstreams.
• Oversee large-scale transformation projects aligning processes, systems and teams.
• Manage internal resources, vendors, and project stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans and monitor milestones.
• Manage changes, scope adjustments, and implementation activities.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies; address issues proactively.
• Develop communication plans and provide regular leadership updates.
• Utilize PM tools and metrics to evaluate progress and outcomes.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and governance records.
• Collaborate with leaders across Finance, HR, IT and Operations.
• Drive process improvements and scalable solutions.
• Demonstrate leadership and professional development within the team.
