Job summary

Prairie Behavioral Health is seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) for a remote, full-time role. You will assess clients, develop treatment plans, and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team to promote mental wellness.

You will support diverse populations, maintain EMR documentation, and mentor junior staff while contributing to community mental health initiatives. Flexible scheduling and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling/psychology or related mental health field.
• Active and unrestricted LPC license in Arizona.
• Minimum 2 years counseling experience; clinical settings preferred.
• Solid understanding of ethics and legal standards in mental health care.
• Strong interpersonal skills for diverse client populations.
• Proficiency with EMR and related technologies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Maintain regular communication with supervisors, families, and caregivers.
• Perform home visits and client assessments as needed.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss care strategies.
• Document progress with monthly/quarterly notes for follow-ups.
• Coach and mentor junior staff on clinical documentation quality.
• Act as a community liaison to support mental health initiatives.
