Job summary

Recovery Solutions Center in San Diego, CA is seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) for a full-time remote role. You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide individual to group therapy via telehealth to a diverse client base.

Requirements include a Master’s or Doctoral in Counseling/Psychology and active CA LPC licensure, plus at least two years of clinical experience and EMR familiarity. Telehealth experience is a plus. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling/ Psychology is required.
• Active and unrestricted CA LPC licensure is required.
• At least two years of direct clinical counseling experience.
• Strong knowledge of ethical guidelines and legal regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities and rapport-building.
• Familiarity with EMR systems and relevant software.
• Telehealth experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and evaluations to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy using evidence-based modalities.
• Utilize CBT, DBT, psychodynamic, and solution-focused brief therapy as appropriate.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists and social workers for holistic care.
• Maintain accurate, confidential clinical records per state regulations.
• Stay updated on mental health research and participate in workshops.
