Recovery Solutions Center in San Diego, CA is seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) for a full-time remote role. You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide individual to group therapy via telehealth to a diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to develop tailored treatment plans for clients, ensuring alignment with their unique goals.
• Administer evidence-based therapeutic interventions, engaging with individuals, couples, families, and groups, to foster healthy coping mechanisms and emotional resilience.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, adapted to meet the distinct needs of each client.
• Collaborate with a vibrant multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to provide holistic and comprehensive care for each client.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with state regulations and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and integrity.
• Proactively stay updated on mental health research and best practices by attending relevant workshops and professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your counseling will primarily focus on individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Possession of active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in California.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical counseling setting, where you have directly provided therapeutic services to a diverse clientele.
• Strong knowledge of ethical guidelines and legal regulations related to counseling practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, allowing for effective rapport-building with clients from a variety of backgrounds.
• Demonstrable proficiency in teamwork, showing a capacity to collaborate harmoniously with other healthcare professionals.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other relevant software tools.

Preferred Experience

• A specialization in treatment areas such as trauma-informed care, substance abuse, family therapy, or couples counseling is highly desirable.
• Experience working in outpatient settings or with telehealth services is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, dependent on your caseload and experience.
