Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Pre-Construction Low Voltage Electrical Estimator to lead subcontractor pricing, partner with the Major Projects Team, and develop accurate installation cost models for diverse projects.

This remote US-based role requires five years estimating experience in electrical field, strong procurement skills, and proficiency with estimating software. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Five years estimating experience in electrical industry or equivalent.
• Strong collaboration with sales, operations and teams.
• Proficiency with MS Office and estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Own Subcon Installation pricing and strategy; review SOW and requirements.
• Source 3rd party subquotes and establish baseline installation pricing.
• Coordinate procurement activities and ensure BOS/DOA compliance.
• Develop, host and review RFPs and maintain supplier relationships.
• Communicate clearly with internal teams and customers.
