Job summary

Regional Reporting, Inc. is seeking an experienced Insurance Loss Control Consultant to perform commercial insurance inspections and complete underwriting reports. The role involves onsite observations, photos, and documenting findings for underwriting decisions.

Qualifications include 2+ years in loss control, knowledge of property/liability/inland marine, NFPA codes, and strong writing. Remote work from home with a PC and phone is supported; occasional travel required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience with Loss Control providers or major carriers.
• Understanding of commercial insurance lines: property, liability, inland marine.
• Identify building construction and ISO classes.
• Knowledge of NFPA codes.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Exceptional writing, organizational, and computer skills.
• Work from home with a PC, internet, and phone.
• Auto with valid license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to climb a ladder up to 6 feet.
• Digital camera or smartphone with picture capability.
• Measuring wheel and camera pole.

Responsibilities

• Record onsite observations, measurements and photos per carrier rules.
• Identify construction type, square footage and hazards.
• Complete assignments/reports by due dates.
• Communicate with Field Manager to complete inspections cost-effectively.
• Coordinate inspection times with insured representative onsite.
• Prepare and report results, upload photos, and diagrams ongoing.
• Drive to insured locations; some overnight travel may be required.
