Job summary

Ash Brokerage is seeking a LTC Business Development Specialist to drive proactive sales and marketing activities, educate advisors, and tailor solutions for individual clients. You’ll manage accounts for a regional VP group and contribute to case design and sales concepts.

Ideal candidates possess strong industry knowledge, a proven sales track record in insurance or financial services, and the ability to work independently and with a team. A business degree and relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with major in business or related field and 2–3 years of related experience or training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.
• Previous experience in insurance or financial services is preferred.
• Prior experience selling Long Term Care and Linked Benefit products is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and nurture agent relationships by creating awareness and executing action around Long Term Care Planning.
• Know the benefits and features of traditional Long Term Care insurance, Accelerated Benefit, and Linked Benefit products.
• Present to the end consumer by educating them and guide them to act on your recommendation.
• Generate sales by educating and training advisors in your specified territory.
• Be aware of new or modified product offerings, rate changes, state approvals, and industry developments.
• Know and understand core carrier underwriting requirements.
• Respond to inquiries from colleagues and clients, and effectively communicate with peers and team leaders.
• Assist with the distribution of marketing materials and policy forms to clients from carrier web sites.
• Provide App Ease service including scheduling, executing, and delivering clean applications.
• Stay up-to-date and proficient on all company business processes, policies, and proprietary software.
