Job summary

Shiphlg is seeking an Account Coordinator to collaborate with Business Development and Account Management to ensure accounts are handled efficiently and effectively. The role calls for an outgoing, driven communicator with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to when events arise, serving as the magic behind the Heartland experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent work or military experience required.
• 6 months to 5+ years of transportation experience preferred.
• Excellent written, speaking, and presentation skills with clear external/internal communication.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with practical execution.
• Ability to learn new TMS and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to customers and carriers.
• Assist with client onboarding, management, and growth initiatives.
• Communicate regularly with team members, vendors, and clients; drive high levels of service.
• Execute operational tasks for all accounts assigned.
• Coordinate with the carrier team to cover and dispatch loads.
• Maintain up-to-date customer profiles and pricing accuracy.
• Communicate with clients daily across the team.
• Follow procedures to protect shipment integrity.
