Job summary

Axios, a media company, is hiring an Account Manager for our Local Client Success team to manage Axios Local Marketplace in Charlotte, NC, with plans to expand. You will scale a semi-service advertising model, oversee campaign setup through reporting, and work cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Editorial to improve client and reader experience.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in client success or marketing, a customer-centric mindset, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in client success, account management, or marketing (media/digital advertising preferred).
• Experience in community management or social programs is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer-centric mindset with data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage client campaigns from setup to execution and reporting.
• Post listings on Marketplace boards and Charlotte newsletter.
• Maintain timely communication with clients and provide post-campaign reports.
• Promote the semi-service model to drive awareness and adoption.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve processes and client experience.
• Track listings, promotions, and communications in internal systems.
• Analyze performance trends and provide data-driven optimization recommendations.
