Axios is hiring a Local Market Builder to launch and scale Axios Local revenue in the Denver market. You will build a book of business from day one, prospect and close local advertisers, and develop long-term partnerships that become core revenue streams.

As a face of Axios in your market, you will leverage existing networks, attend events, and collaborate with editorial teams to create a trusted local presence and recurring revenue growth.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years in sales, digital media, advertising or related field.

Responsibilities

• Build and own a book of business from day one.
• Prospect, pitch, and close new local advertisers.
• Develop repeatable revenue streams through renewals and long-term partnerships.
• Serve as Axios brand ambassador in-market and collaborate with editorial teams.
• Create and manage a high-volume pipeline of deals (typical deal size $5K–$15K).
• Own outcomes, test approaches, and drive momentum in-market.
