Job summary

ABB is seeking a Local Division Manager for the IEC Low Voltage Division in the United States. You will own the local P&L, drive revenue growth, and lead cross-functional teams to execute the commercial strategy and manage portfolio initiatives.

The role requires strong financial discipline, market insight, and the ability to work remotely across the US. Expect 50% travel, a competitive bonus plan, and a path to scale operations with ABB’s global resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years leading cross-functional teams (Procurement, sales, sales support and more).
• Product and Portfolio knowledge of Low Voltage IEC Motors and their applications across industries.
• Strong financial management experience with previous P&L ownership.
• Experience with change management and building high-performing teams.
• Track record of year-over-year sales growth with meeting/exceeding targets.
• Role requires 50% domestic travel and a valid US driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes the division's commercial strategy locally, aligning segment strategies with go-to-market and execution paths.
• Leads a high-performing commercial team to achieve sales objectives and KPIs with standardized processes and pricing strategy.
• Owns P&L accountability, drives revenue growth via new customers and wallet share expansion while optimizing costs.
• Monitors market trends, analyzes competitors, forecasts demand, and provides actionable insights for planning and positioning.
• Implements portfolio/product strategy aligned with division objectives, manages opportunities, and ensures schedule, quality, and customer satisfaction.
