Job summary

Farmers Bank of Willards is seeking a Loan Coordinator I to oversee processing of various loan types from application through closing. You will gather and review documents, ensure regulatory compliance, and support borrowers and lenders with a focus on accurate, timely service.

Responsibilities include coordinating third-party providers, maintaining files, generating reports, and contributing to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in loan operations, loan processing, documentation, or credit administration.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements (TILA, RESPA, BSA, CRA).
• Strong organizational and communication skills for detail-oriented work.
• Ability to collaborate with borrowers, attorneys, appraisers, and vendors.
• Experience with loan origination and servicing systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate processing of commercial, consumer, agricultural, residential, and specialty loans from application through closing.
• Prepare, review, and verify loan documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Obtain required documentation from borrowers and third parties for underwriting.
• Maintain organized loan files and track required items before closing.
• Generate reports for lending management and assist with audits and exams.
• Provide administrative and operational support to lenders and customers.
