Job summary

Knock, a remote-first home financing company, is seeking a Loan Officer Assistant to support the customer journey from application to disclosures, help borrowers become pre-approved, and assist Loan Officers toward successful closings.

You will manage a substantial pipeline, ensure required documents are in order, and provide responsive service in a fast-paced remote startup environment focused on people-first mortgage solutions.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience as a Mortgage Loan Originator or Sales Assistant (Loan Officer Assistant)
• Active NMLS license or ability to acquire within 90 days of hire
• Experience using LOS, Meridian Link, Blend and/or Google Suite required

Responsibilities

• Assist Loan Officers by gathering required documentation to complete the loan application
• Help borrowers become pre-approved for Knock Bridge Loan
• Manage a pipeline of 200+ loan applications per month per loan officer
• Ensure submission requirements and documents are met before disclosure
• Follow up on disclosed loans to ensure timely signing
• Support Loan Officers and Loan Assistants with borrower requests
• Assist in assigning new loan files to Loan Officers
• Understand TRID guidelines and Loan Estimates
• Ensure loans are set up and documented in Encompass
• Provide excellent customer service and collaborate with stakeholders
