Job summary

G&A Partners is seeking a Leave of Absence Specialist to administer LOA across federal, state, and local laws for clients and employees. The role can be based at the corporate or satellite office or fully remote.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in HR, FMLA experience, and strong communication skills, with bilingual English/Spanish being a plus. The company offers health benefits, a 401(k), and bonus programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of HR experience.
• FMLA experience required; ADA administration preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive topics and deny requests when appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Analyze federal and state LOA requests and determine eligibility.
• Advise on leave options and coordination across multiple leaves.
• Prepare and communicate leave designations in writing to employees and clients.
• Process LOA documentation in Prisma and LOA admin systems; coordinate with Payroll and Benefits.
• Educate clients on LOA practices and ensure compliance.
• Escalate complex leaves to the LOA Advisor.
• Document and track LOA activities for seamless handoffs.
