Job summary

Civista Bank in Dublin, OH is seeking a Learning & Development Program Specialist to manage Civista University (the LMS) and design engaging learning experiences that support employee growth and business performance, all from a remote setting.

You will partner with stakeholders, SMEs, facilitators, and vendors to translate needs into high‑quality learning solutions, continuously improving content, engagement, and outcomes while upholding Civista’s culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, organizational development, instructional design, human resources, information technology, or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Two to five years of experience in Learning & Development, training, instructional design, or related field.
• Hands-on experience administering an LMS; Litmos experience preferred.
• Experience with e-learning development tools, such as Articulate Rise or similar platform.
• Strong understanding of instructional design and adult learning principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and learning technologies.
• Strong organizational, analytical, project-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder-engagement skills.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering a positive learner experience.

Responsibilities

• LMS Administration – Civista University: Serve as the primary administrator for the Litmos LMS and manage users, roles, permissions, configuration, curricula, and reporting.
• Content Development: Design and develop interactive learning experiences using instructional design principles and multimedia assets.
• Collaboration: Partner with SMEs, facilitators, leaders, and vendors to translate business needs into learning solutions.
• Vendor Management: Act as liaison with external learning vendors and coordinate implementations and improvements.
• Continuous Improvement: Monitor engagement and performance data to refine content and learner experiences.
