Job summary

Sales Match is hiring a Live Chat Agent to handle inquiries via live chat and email from a fully remote home-based setup in Georgia, USA. You will assist customers, explain product details, and move conversations toward resolutions while coordinating with the support team.

The role requires a reliable 40-hour week, consistent attendance, and strong written communication. Training will cover Zendesk, Salesforce, and our knowledge resources to deliver accurate, helpful responses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No experience required; related live chat, email support, or other customer-facing experience preferred.
• Ability to read customer questions carefully and write clear, courteous responses with accurate spelling and grammar.
• Basic understanding of online accounts, product information, service requests, and when a customer question needs escalation.
• Comfortable learning chat interfaces, ticket queues, customer history screens, and searchable knowledge resources through guided practice.

Responsibilities

• Respond to live chat conversations and customer emails with clear, helpful answers.
• Greet customers professionally and ask focused questions to determine needed assistance.
• Check customer history in a CRM before answering to confirm relevant information.
• Explain features and steps using approved product guides and service information.
• Create and update service tickets in Zendesk and document actions taken.
