Orion Placement seeks a Civil Litigation Leader to oversee defense matters from assessment to resolution, including trial prep. You will shape strategy, mentor associates, and supervise litigation from inception through to resolution.

Based in California, this 100% remote role requires 4+ years of civil litigation and CA Bar membership, with collaborative client engagement and opportunities for professional advancement within a growing defense practice.

Qualifications

Enjoy the flexibility of working remotely from anywhere in California. Our practice is based in Los Angeles, but qualified attorneys throughout the state are encouraged to apply. Occasional California court appearances may be required.

Note: Applicants must currently reside in California, hold an active California Bar license in good standing, and have 4+ years of civil litigation experience. Candidates must also have experience supervising associate attorneys or independently leading litigation matters from initial evaluation through resolution.

• Manage case priorities and drive litigation forward while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active California Bar license in good standing.
• Must currently reside in California.
• 4+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Experience supervising associate attorneys or independently managing litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Strong litigation strategy, legal writing, and communication skills.
• Experience in personal injury defense, insurance defense, construction defect, habitability, insurance coverage, product liability, or professional liability litigation is preferred.
• Experience with depositions, discovery, and motion practice is highly valued.
