Job summary

Orion Placement is hiring a litigation attorney for a fully remote role servicing California. The attorney will manage civil litigation from investigation through trial, draft critical documents, and conduct depositions with mentorship and growth opportunities.

The position requires a JD, active CA Bar, and at least 1 year of litigation experience; insurance defense is a plus. Competitive comp, benefits, and long-term advancement are offered.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil litigation matters from investigation through resolution and trial.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
• Represent clients at hearings, case management conferences, and other court proceedings; collaborate on strategy and trial prep.
• Communicate with clients and provide strategic legal guidance.
• Take increasing ownership of cases while developing litigation and trial skills.

Location

Remote – California. Work from anywhere within California while being part of a collaborative litigation team.

Note

Candidates must have an active California Bar license and at least 1 year of litigation experience. At least 1 year of insurance defense experience is preferred but not required.
