Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Paralegal to join a busy Litigation Department. This fully remote role supports our legal team in preparing documents, conducting research, and keeping case files organized from a home office.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of paralegal experience, strong writing skills, and proficiency with legal research and e-discovery tools. Excellent organization and self-motivation are essential for success in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a paralegal, preferably in litigation.
• Proficiency in legal research software and e-discovery tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills for a remote role.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions.
• Conduct legal research using online databases and other resources.
• Organize and manage case files, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Communicate with clients, witnesses, and court personnel.
• Summarize depositions, interrogatories, and testimony.
