Job summary

Jacoby & Meyers is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support our civil litigation team in a fully remote role. The right candidate will prepare filings, track deadlines, review claims, and assist in case development under attorney supervision.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years civil litigation experience or relevant paralegal work.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple cases independently and in a team.
• Proficiency with internet, spreadsheet, and word processing software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and timely submit government claim forms and documentation.
• Review claims for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor claim statuses and maintain case records.
• Track statute deadlines and ensure timely filings.
• Calendar deadlines, hearings, and tasks; coordinate with agencies.
• Draft summons, complaints, and ancillary documents for attorney review.
• Collaborate with pre-litigation teams to identify matters for litigation.
• Maintain and update case management software and reports.
