Our client, a nationally renowned complex litigation law firm seeks an experienced litigation paralegal for a hybrid/remote role. Here is information about the role:
Billable Requirement: 1,350 hours annually
Experience & Background
- 5+ years of demonstrated litigation paralegal experience in a law firm environment
- Big law or sophisticated boutique firm background strongly preferred
- this is a hybrid role with required in-office days (2 to 3 days in office DOE)
- Solid, verifiable work history with no unexplained gaps
Requirements
- eDiscovery – Data ingestion, production setup, advanced Boolean search construction, privilege review and logging, quality control, and export management (Relativity, Logikcull, or equivalent platform experience required)
- Legal Research – Westlaw proficiency including KeyCite validation, research output and summarization, and alert setup
- Jurisdictional Compliance – Federal court experience in California and/or New York; working knowledge of local rules and procedural requirements for SDNY, CDCA, and related venues
- eFiling – Active PACER/CM/ECF accounts with recent eFiling experience; CA and/or NY state eFiling experience (NYSCEF)
- Advanced Proofing – MS Word mastery (Styles, TOC/TOA, Track Changes, Compare Docs), Bluebook citation formatting and cite-checking, Adobe Acrobat (redactions, Bates numbering)
- AI Legal Tools – Familiarity with CoCounsel, Harvey, or similar AI-assisted legal research and document review platforms is a plus
