Tyson & Mendes, a nationally recognized trial firm, seeks a Litigation Legal Assistant for a remote full-time role in California. You will support civil litigation and insurance defense teams, format pleadings, file documents, docket deadlines, and assist with trial prep while maintaining confidentiality.

You’ll need at least 3 years of litigation support experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office and Westlaw.

Competenze

• Minimum of 3+ years’ experience as a litigation legal assistant.
• Experience in insurance defense and/or personal injury preferred.
• Solid understanding of civil litigation and calendar deadlines across state, federal, and appellate courts.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat; Westlaw research.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
• Team player able to collaborate under tight deadlines.

• Format pleadings and correspondence
• File and E-file documents in State, Federal, and Appellate Courts
• Prepare Table of Contents and Table of Authorities for motions
• Docket case related deadlines
