Tyson & Mendes in California is seeking a Legal Assistant to support attorneys handling civil litigation and insurance defense cases. You will draft and e-file documents, manage case calendars, coordinate hearings, and assist with trial prep, while upholding confidentiality and professionalism.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in litigation support, strong organizational and communication skills, proficiency with MS Office and e-filing procedures, and the ability to work in an office 2 days per

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as a litigation legal assistant
• Insurance defense and/or personal injury experience preferred
• Office 2 days per week required
• Solid understanding of civil litigation calendars and rules (state and federal)
• Proficiency with MS Office and Adobe Acrobat; familiarity with court filings (CA)

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with daily administrative tasks
• Format pleadings and correspondence
