Job summary

Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. in Denver, CO seeks a seasoned Legal Assistant to support a fast-paced litigation group. The role requires filing pleadings, docket maintenance, and strong organizational skills to manage multiple matters.

Qualifications

3+ years of legal assistant experience supporting litigators in civil defense in a high-volume environment.
CO State and Federal Court filing including E-Filing experience required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Requires strong communication, organization, attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Filing and circulation of pleadings in state and federal court.
Maintain docketing for attorneys including deadlines calculations.
Provide administrative support incl. processing invoices and coordinating depositions.
Assist with opening new files and gathering client information.
Coordinate scheduling and travel for attorneys; manage attorney schedules.
Prepare correspondence and other written documents under direction.
Handle tracking and disposition of subpoenas or information requests.
Organize and maintain files; monitor and elevate issues as needed.
