Job summary

TopDog Law, a fully remote national personal injury firm, seeks a junior to mid-level attorney for litigation ethics compliance. You’ll work with the GC on research, drafting SOPs, and conflicts waivers across states, with high-volume case oversight and policy updates.

The role requires a JD and active license, 2+ years in litigation compliance, and strong organizational and communication skills for remote collaboration with attorneys and staff.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school; active licensure in a major US state.
• 5–10 years of litigation experience at a prominent firm.
• 2+ years of compliance experience in litigation.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work remotely and coordinate with stakeholders firm-wide.
• Self-starter capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Litigation Ethics Compliance: research, writing, and investigation into compliance issues.
• Draft SOPs for ethics compliance across litigation matters in multiple states.
• Draft and revise firm forms and client communications, retention and settlement docs.
• Evaluate conflicts of interest and draft waivers.
• Implement and update internal compliance policies and protocols.
• Auditing and high-level case oversight of a large portfolio to ensure compliance.
