Troutman Pepper Locke LLP is seeking a Litigation Docketing Specialist to manage calendar creation from court documents and deadlines, ensuring accuracy and compliance across jurisdictions. The role supports attorneys and staff, maintaining docket integrity and timely reporting.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of docketing experience, familiarity with rules-based calendar software, and the ability to work in a remote, hybrid, or in-office setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, paralegal certificate or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three years of docketing experience.
• Experience calculating deadlines for state, federal and appellate courts.
• Experience with Milana, Compulaw or e-Dockets preferred.

Responsabilités

• Review and analyze docketing requests and accurately calculate critical dates and deadlines.
• Learn and demonstrate knowledge of court rules and procedures in several jurisdictions; monitor updates.
• Research dates when needed to supplement automated calculations.
• Update existing docket entries and review work product for quality control.
• Generate and distribute docket reports upon request.
• Proofread and review calendar entries for accuracy.
• Collaborate with the Litigation Docket Manager to communicate policies and address issues.
• Monitor docketing inboxes and coordinate with case team members.
• Provide information and support to attorneys regarding docketing policies.
• Maintain knowledge of Federal, State and local rules and civil procedure.
