Job summary

Aldridge Pite, LLP, a multi-state law firm, offers remote work from home and seeks a California-licensed Litigation Attorney to handle litigated matters with emphasis on defensive litigation involving residential real estate, mortgages and foreclosure.

You will manage all aspects of litigation, draft pleadings, conduct depositions, attend hearings, and advise clients on strategies while maintaining strong advocacy, organization and compliance with California Bar requirements.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active California State Bar member in good standing.
• Ability to bill 1,920 hours per year.
• Knowledge of foreclosure processes is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of litigation arising from mortgage servicing and foreclosure matters.
• Prepare case analyses and advise clients on strategies.
• Draft court pleadings and motions.
• Conduct discovery including depositions.
• Attend hearings, mediations and settlement conferences.
